Our Dune Racer 350 is engineered for boys who crave extreme off-road adventure. With a robust 350-watt motor and Monster Traction drive system, this ride-on conquers grass, gravel, dirt, and steep inclines with ease.
We built the Dune Racer 350 with a reinforced steel frame and oversized knobby tires that deliver stability on rugged terrain. The sporty bucket seats accommodate two riders, while the performance-tuned suspension absorbs bumps for smooth rides across your backyard or trail. Multiple speed settings give you control as your young driver builds confidence behind the wheel.
Dune Racer 350 specs & performance details

Steel Frame Construction & Monster Traction System
We designed the Dune Racer 350 around a heavy-duty steel tube frame that withstands the punishment of aggressive outdoor play. This reinforced chassis provides structural integrity while supporting up to 130 pounds of combined rider weight across both bucket seats.
The Monster Traction drive system features oversized knobby tires specifically engineered for off-road grip. These rugged wheels measure larger than standard Power Wheels tires and provide enhanced traction on grass, dirt paths, gravel driveways, and even moderate inclines. The wide wheelbase and low center of gravity keep the 350 stable during tight turns and uneven terrain navigation.

Power Performance & Speed Control
350-Watt Motor Output
The heart of the Dune Racer 350 is its high-torque 350-watt motor, engineered to deliver consistent power even under load. This upgraded motor provides the muscle needed to climb backyard hills, power through wet grass, and maintain speed on challenging surfaces where standard ride-ons struggle.
Adjustable Speed Settings
We included two forward speed settings that let you match performance to your child’s skill level. The lower 2.5 mph setting is perfect for younger boys building confidence, while the 5 mph high-speed mode delivers thrilling acceleration for experienced drivers. A functional reverse gear completes the driving experience, allowing realistic maneuvering around obstacles.
Safety Features & Rider Capacity
We take safety seriously with the Dune Racer 350. Each of the two molded bucket seats includes a working lap belt that keeps riders secure during aggressive cornering and rough-terrain adventures. The contoured seat design provides support and helps prevent sliding during off-road excitement.
The integrated roll cage framework surrounds the passenger compartment without restricting visibility or entry. This tubular steel structure adds crash protection while maintaining the open-cockpit feel boys love. Side panels extend below the seating area to shield legs from trail debris and low obstacles.

Everything You Need to Know About the Dune Racer 350
The 350-watt motor in the Dune Racer delivers significantly more torque and sustained power compared to our standard motors. This translates to better hill-climbing ability, consistent performance on challenging terrain like thick grass or gravel, and the muscle to maintain speed even with two riders aboard.
You’ll notice the difference immediately when navigating inclines or rough surfaces where standard ride-ons tend to slow down or struggle. The 350 motor is specifically engineered for off-road performance and demanding outdoor conditions.
The 12-volt rechargeable battery provides 40-60 minutes of continuous run time depending on terrain, rider weight, and speed setting usage. Driving primarily in high-speed mode on challenging terrain will drain the battery faster than gentle cruising on flat surfaces.
The initial charge before first use requires 18 hours to properly condition the battery cells. Subsequent recharges take approximately 14 hours using the included wall charger. We recommend charging after each use and avoiding partial charges to maximize battery lifespan.
The Dune Racer 350 accommodates a combined maximum weight of 130 pounds across both seats. We recommend this vehicle for boys ages 3-7 years, though the appropriate age depends on individual size and maturity level.
Younger or smaller riders should start in the 2.5 mph speed setting with close adult supervision. More experienced drivers ages 5-7 typically handle the 5 mph high-speed setting with confidence. Always ensure riders can reach the foot pedal comfortably and understand basic steering and braking.
The Monster Traction system and 350-watt motor make the Dune Racer highly capable on wet grass and light mud. The oversized knobby tires provide excellent grip on damp surfaces, and the powerful motor maintains traction where standard ride-ons would slip or stall.
That said, we don’t recommend driving through standing water, deep mud, or during heavy rain. While the vehicle can handle damp conditions, the electrical components aren’t designed for submersion. Light moisture and wet grass are fine, but avoid puddles and always store the Dune Racer indoors or under cover when not in use.
Most parents complete Dune Racer 350 assembly in 30-45 minutes using common household tools. You’ll need a Phillips screwdriver and possibly pliers for tightening certain connections.
The main assembly steps include attaching the four wheels to the axles, securing both bucket seats to the frame mounting points, connecting the battery wiring harness, and snapping body panels into place. Our illustrated instructions guide you through each step, and no specialized mechanical knowledge is required. The steel frame and roll cage come pre-assembled to simplify the process.
We designed the Dune Racer 350 specifically for outdoor terrain and do not recommend indoor operation. The aggressive tread pattern on the Monster Traction tires can mark or damage flooring, and the vehicle’s size makes it impractical for most indoor spaces.
The 350 truly shines in outdoor environments where boys can explore varied terrain, practice maneuvering around obstacles, and experience the thrill of off-road driving. If you’re looking for an indoor-friendly option, explore our indoor ride-on collection with smoother tires and compact designs.
We offer a complete range of genuine Power Wheels replacement parts for the Dune Racer 350, including batteries, chargers, tires, axles, motors, and body panels. All parts are designed specifically for this model to ensure proper fit and performance.
Replacement batteries and chargers are our most commonly purchased parts as families add backup power sources for extended play sessions. Tires and wheels are also available individually if you experience wear from extensive off-road use.
